Desterilization was my north star for this project. Often times energy drinks have bold, eye-catching graphics, that leave the more mundane wellness-inspired brands in need of a pick-me-up. My goal was to cut the noise of many canned drinks that lie on their packaging, including mystery ingredients, or mislead you with the color green that their fluid is THE best fluid to be drinking. Blurred Limes is the opposite. Blurred Limes is electric, honest, and witty in tone. Using the soft glow of diffused dithering, I created a selection of lime-inspired shapes that rounded out this design to fashion a product you want to see and drink.
