At this time I was a member of a band in the grunge scene, so when I saw "speed", after studying up on The Rolling Stones' Midnight Rambler on YouTube, I caught a clear arrow shooting right at "speed" as cocaine and the electric, crummy, underbelly of rock and roll. Moreover, knowing my bandmates well, I was keen to showcase their unique and bold style in my projects, as their energy very much inspired me visually.
